Key Laundry Advice: How to Keep Clothing Dry and Fresh During Winter
Damp winters can leave even the cleanest clothes smelling stale. Here's how to keep your wardrobe fresh.

Winter is hard on laundry. Cold air slows drying, low sunlight breeds mildew, and damp wardrobes leave clothes smelling musty.
1. Don't fold damp. Always make sure clothes are bone-dry before folding. Even slight moisture trapped in a stack will smell within hours.
2. Use cedar or silica. A small sachet in each shelf draws ambient moisture out of cotton and wool.
3. Air every 3–4 days. Open the wardrobe and let circulation reach the back. Stagnant air is the enemy.
If your in-house drying isn't keeping up, FABO uses Woolmark-approved heated drying so even peak-monsoon laundry comes back fresh and odour-free.
